The Police Force maintains registers and archives containing, inter alia, all data, such as purchase authorization, make, model, calibre and serial number, on weapons owned by civilians in the country. All weapons in the possession of the Customs Authority are listed in the monitoring registers and archives of the Police Force. The Police Force has access to all data on the weapons carried by the Banders (forest rangers).

Measures taken for undertaking traces and responding to tracing requests:

The Principality of Andorra and the Kingdom of Spain conculded a bilateral agreement through an exchange of notes in 22 February 2005 on the reciprocal recognition of weapons permits for hunting and sport shooting.

Operational Informaton Exchange:

Andorra cooperates with Interpol and the World Customs Organization.
