Asia and the Pacific

From 29 - 30 March 2010, 9 ASEAN Member States, plus Japan, met in Bali, Indonesia, to discuss the implementation of the UN Programme of Action (www.poa-iss.org). The participants discussed a number of topics relationg to small arms and light weapons - such as border controls and national legislation, as well as the upcoming 4th Biennial Meeting of States (http://www.poa-iss.org/bms4/) which will be held in June 2010 in New York.

Latin America and the Caribbean

From 1- 2 March 2010, 28 States of the Latin America and Caribbean region met in Lima, Peru, to discuss the implementation of the UN Programme of Action (www.poa-iss.org).
